Smoked Salmon Club Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 3 Slices of bread or a roll (To reduce carbs, use Atkins Sliced Bread Duet -White)
- 4 oz. Alaska Smokehouse smoked salmon (per sandwich)
- Green leaf lettuce - 1-2 leaves per sandwich
- Sliced tomatoes
- 3 Slices of bacon per sandwich
- Dill Aioli
- 1 Cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon of Horseradish sauce
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 Tablespoon of dried dill weed
Procedure:
- Cook bacon according to package instructions.
- Toast your choice of bread or roll.
- Make the Dill Aioli by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Spread some of the Dill Aioli on your toasted bread or roll.
- Layer your club sandwich starting with lettuce, tomato and bacon on the bottom slice of bread.
- Top with the middle slice of bread.
- Add another layer of lettuce on the middle slice of bread.
- Arrange smoked salmon on top of lettuce.
- Top with the final slice of bread and secure each half with 2 toothpicks.
- . Cut sandwich diagonally and serve with chips or french fries.
